Ashley Services Group was established in 1968 as a labour hire business in Sydney. Over time the business has grown into a diverse group of companies employing over 260 internal staff across Australia.

ASG is committed to providing a bespoke experience for its clients and candidates. To support this, the business has invested in its own processes and systems development. The result of this includes a comprehensive online application and induction tool, bespoke rostering software focussed on the industry’s unique needs, and a custom-built CRM system used for managing recruitment and employees across the entire group.

The business was listed on the Australian Securities Exchange in 2014 (ASX: ASH).

Mr Ross Shrimpton is the founder and Managing Director of Ashley Services Group. Ross has been a Director of the Company since incorporation and has been instrumental in the overall growth and strategic direction of the Group. He is a Chartered Accountant with over 40 years’ experience in finance and management across several large international organisations such as CSR / Humes and David Brown. Ross commenced his professional career with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, where he worked with major listed companies. Overall, Ross has had 19 years of relevant experience in the labour hire and training industries.

Managing Director

Mr Ross Shrimpton is the founder and Managing Director of Ashley Services Group. Chris McFadden

Chief Financial Officer

Chris joined in January 2017 as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Ashley Services Group. Chris has over 25 years of financial management experience and extensive experience managing all aspects of the finance function of publicly listed companies. He was most recently CFO at sass & bide and has held CFO positions at Staples and Ross Human Directions Limited, as well as the role of Senior Commercial Manager at Woolworths Limited. Chris holds a Bachelor of Business – Accounting from the University of Technology Sydney, completed the Senior Executive Programme at London Business School, is a Fellow of CPA Australia, and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Chief Operating Officer – Recruitment & Labour Hire

Glen joined Ashley Services Group in early 2022 after leading large companies and teams to ongoing success across the rail and global aviation industries. Glen is a strong yet empathetic leader whose knowledge and implementation of processes, systems and structures have allowed him to build successful and sustainable businesses.
